Indole acetic acid (IAA) is biology know as an auxin that causes elongation of the cells of plant  stems, it is known as a plant hormone, that promotes growth and root formation. indole acetic acid

Commercial use of Indole Acetic Acid (as one of most important synthetic auxins) is widespread in plant nurseries and for crop production. Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) is used as a rooting hormone to promote growth of adventitious roots on cuttings and detached leaves. Applying Indole Acetic Acid to tomato plants in greenhouses promotes normal fruit development. Outdoor application of Indoleacetic acid promotes synchronization of fruit setting and dropping to coordinate the harvesting season. Fruits such as seedless cucumbers can be induced to set fruit by treating unfertilized plant flowers with

  • Used to stimulate rooting of cuttings for herbaceous and woody
  • ornamentals.  Used on adventitious root formation, such
  •  as tea tree, pepper,etc.
  • It can promote fruit-setting, fruit-enlargement, yield-
  •  increasing, such as sugar beet, tomato, cornpotato.
  • It can promote sprout, seed-soaking, such as rice, cotton, potato, eggplant.
