Emperithrin is a pyrethroid, broad-spectrum insecticide used in domestic and utility situations, normally those boring flying pests (including moths) and other domestic pests that attach fabrics or textile.

Emperithrin is also called as vaporthrin, this substance have a a high vapor pressure in the normal room termperature, so that it is easy to produce vapor and more. this make killing of pests in an engergy saving way.

APPLICATIONS
Biochemistry
Acts on the nervous system of insects, disturbs the function of neurons by interaction with the sodium channel.

Mode of action
Insecticide with contact action. Compared with other pyrethroids, has a high vapour pressure and hence is active against flying insects.

Uses
Used as a domestic insecticide, especially against moths, woolly bears and other insects attacking fabrics.

Aerosol; Impregnated material.
