Chlorfluazuron is an insect growth regulator inhibiting chitin synthesis and can give a good control of various pest insects, especially lepidoptera, at lower dose rate.

Chlorfluazuron has very little egative impact on natural enemies and pollinator insects, and can be used in integrated pest management programs.

Chlorfluzuron is a compound in the benzoylphenylurea insect growth regulator. Chlorfluzuron could be used for control of heliothis, spodoptera, bemisia tabaci and other chewing insects on cotton; for the control of plutella, thrips and other chewing insects on vegetables, fruit, potatoes, ornamentals and tea.

Mode of action
Insect growth regulator which acts as an anti-moulting agent, leading to death of the larvae and pupae.

Uses
Control of Heliothis, Spodoptera, Bemisia tabaci and other chewing insects on cotton; and Plutella, Thrips and other chewing insects on vegetables. Also used on fruit, potatoes, ornamentals and tea. Applied at 2.5 g/hl.
